Sean C. Barker

Chief Executive Officer

Sean established cloudEQ in 2007 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Sean’s successful career as an entrepreneur and executive at various Fortune 100 companies was a huge driver in starting his own business. Sean leverages his experience working with vendors as a customer and strives to be the best vendor he can, so that his customers don’t have the same frustrations he often saw as a customer. Being on that side of the table has helped cloudEQ develop better customer service. Sean has over 25 years leading in IT, IT leadership in infrastructure, operations application development, SaaS, PaaS, and program management.

Prior to founding cloudEQ, Sean founded Omadas; a consulting firm with clients across the globe and served as the COO of Boardwalk Entertainment group where he still holds a patent for a Mobile Replacement Dialogue Recording system. He was the CTO and VP of IT at Ingram Micro and the Director of IT WellPoint health Networks/Anthem.

When Sean isn’t working, he enjoys scuba diving and serves on the board of Dive Heart, a non-profit providing dive therapy for people with disabilities.

G. Scott Barker

Chief Operating Officer

Scott joined cloudEQ in 2019 and serves as the Chief Operating Officer. Scott’s strong financial acumen and technical understanding comes from his various IT roles over the past 20 years as an entrepreneur, and other leadership positions.

Prior to joining cloudEQ, he was the COO of OMADAS LLC where he was responsible for all aspects of operations, financials and program/project delivery. Prior to OMADAS LLC he worked for Amgen, IBM, Bank of America and WellPoint as a senior management delivery executive. In his spare time, Scott enjoys watching movies and is regularly heard quoting his favorites on our conference calls.

Thomas (Tom) Wierimaa

Chief Financial Officer

Tom joined the cloudEQ team in 2019 and serves as its Chief Financial Officer. In his role, he is responsible for the financial health of cloudEQ. Tom is a seasoned financial professional with 25 years’ experience at companies of all sizes. Prior to cloudEQ, Tom worked with WorldCom, Level 3, and several private companies. He also worked in many divisions, being able to deal with financials from the initial acquisition and sale of the company to managing operational finance, billing and day-to-day payments.

Robert A. Golob

Chief Legal Officer

Robert is cloudEQ’s Chief Legal Officer. In this role, Robert serves as legal counsel and advisor to the board of directors and corporate officers, and is responsible for corporate governance, compliance, overall legal strategy, and company-wide legal affairs.

Robert has been advising and representing cloudEQ since 2019, on matters regarding corporate formation, development, financing, compliance, and corporate expansion into domestic and foreign markets. Prior to joining cloudEQ, he spent 10 years as the Managing Attorney at Golob Law, P.C, a boutique law firm which represents small to mid-sized tech companies, manufacturers, and other organizations. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan and a J.D. in International Business from Western Michigan University.

Jason Mitchell

Vice President of client delivery

Jason serves as the Vice President of Client Delivery. In this role Jason is responsible for all aspects of client operations including engineering, architecture, client management and support processes. He has a wide range of experience in infrastructure, performance optimizations, global transformational projects, M&A activities, outsourcing/insourcing, contract negotiations and project delivery which makes him the perfect fit to lead our operations.

Jason has over 25 years of executive IT experience in various Fortune 100 companies. Before joining our team, he was the VP and CIO at Universal Healthcare and prior to that was the VP of Infrastructure Operations for Wellcare Health Plans, Inc. Jason loves improving the operations of cloudEQ and how we work with customers. Outside of the office, he enjoys the challenge of deep sea fishing.

James (Jim) Forrest

Vice President Client Success

Jim serves as the Vice President of Client Success Services. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of client facing managed service engagements. Jim is a Technology Executive with 30+ years of experience at Fortune 500 companies.


Prior to cloudEQ, he was a Consulting Executive with Omadas and Vice President and Managing Director for Atos, accountable for P&L and client delivery across Pharma, HealthCare Providers and Financial Services markets. Prior to joining Atos, he was a Staff VP at WellPoint, engaged in IT operations and service delivery. Prior to WellPoint Jim was a Senior Director of Research and Development, Senior Director of IT Infrastructure and ultimately the CIO at Candle Corporation prior to their acquisition by IBM. When he isn’t working, Jim is golfing or thinking about golfing.

Scott White

Vice President (UK & EU)

Scott serves as the Vice President of UK & EU cloudEQ and in his role is responsible for all aspects of delivery for the United Kingdom and Europe. Scott is a technology executive with 20 plus years of leadership across global companies in the UK and Asia.

Prior to joining cloudEQ Scott was an independent consultant leading major programs for large multi-National companies. Scott has served as a leader in the retail, financial and FinTech environments across UK and Asia. He has a proven track record of success in managing large, diverse environments across multiple clients, targeting strategic areas in technology, business, process improvement and delivery.

Angela Rakis

Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Angela is the VP of Sales and Marketing where she works with the cloudEQ team to drive customer engagement and development. She strategically plans our outreach across the globe to increase brand awareness, communicate with prospects, customers and partners and grow our new business development efforts.

With over 25+ years of selling and sales leadership, Angela has helped business clients implement growth strategies to realize their revenue potential and sales professionals increase their confidence in their sales pursuits and processes. She has led teams at IBM, Xerox and more!

When Angela isn’t working, she loves to travel, kayak and spend quality time with her dog.

Gurminder (Gerry) Singh

Managing Director Software (India)

(Gerry) Singh Managing Director Software CHANDIGARH
Gerry has been working with cloudEQ since its founding and serves as the Managing Director of cloudEQ Software at our India location. Gerry’s IT career spans 20 years as a leader, Enterprise Architect, Application Developer, and Entrepreneur.

Prior to joining cloudEQ he led AppTree Technologies developing cloud, mobile as well as enterprise and global applications for large clients. Additionally, he worked as a software architect where he became an expert in multiple programming languages and IT program / process delivery. Besides for his love of technology and software, he loves a good Sci-Fi movie.

Sandra Esparza

Director of Migration Services

Sandra has been working with cloudEQ since its founding and serves as Director of Migration Services. In this role, Sandra ensures that a strategic migration plan is customly tailored for each client. Sandra’s strong communication and client service skills enhance cloudEQ’s management philosophy.

Sandra has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry with extensive healthcare, food industry, and Fortune 500 companies project portfolios. Her roles have included Project Manager, Account Manager, Customer Service Management, Director of Account Services and others. Her wide range of experiences on both sides of the IT Industry cemented her philosophy of customer service always being the top priority.

When she’s not helping our clients, Sandra is an advocate for the great outdoors and loves running and hiking throughout California. When she’s not hiking, she’s planning her next hike. She is a charitable contributor to several organizations that assist her unhoused neighbors in her hometown, Los Angeles.

Moraima Chipi

Director Project Office

Mori serves as a director project office and liaison between cloudEQ and our clients. She is responsible for implementing new vendor and data center services, managing multiple vendors and building relationships with our customers and application owners.

Mori has over 20 years of IT experience from startups to Fortune 500 companies. She has managed all areas of IT from Infrastructure, IT Operations and PMO.

In her spare time Mori enjoys capturing beautiful moments and memories through her photography.
